Job Description

Coordinates and directs the service department technicians for maximum efficiency and productivity, while overseeing all service repair work to ensure the highest quality of customer service.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Monitor the hourly sold within the workshop and the workshop utilization, productivity, and efficiency of the individual employees involved.
• Establish the daily workshop capacity and ensures that the workshop planning is followed properly to maintain on-time delivery of available vehicles and communicate the workshop load to the reception to schedule the new load accordingly.
• Establish technicians skills matrix and follow up implementation.
• Ensure setting the tight target for the technicians.
• Improve technicians skills by providing on job training and ensuring technicians attend the training as per the training plan.
• Follow up the QC process and share the report, analysis, and action plan on a monthly basis.
• Share the repeat repair data, analysis, and action plan on a monthly basis.
• Follow up all workshop KPIs “Fix it right, productivity, utilization, repeat repair,” and set the necessary actions for improvement.
• Ensure that all workshop tools and equipment are available and in good condition and control it.
• Ensure a high level of communication with workshop and parts & reception teams.
• Ensure that technicians are following the standard repair process.
• Ensure that all warranty process is followed up as per the manufacturer’s policy.
• Ensure implementing high level of vehicle washing.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
